Description
Crafted from 100% premium cotton, this tee carries a story stitched into every thread. The artwork is screen printed using high-quality Plastisol Ink, creating a bold, lasting finish that honours both craftsmanship and tradition.
At the centre is a stylised three-legged African pot - the Lepot icon - rendered in its original black. This colour is not just an aesthetic choice; it reflects the true character of the three-legged pot as it has lived in African homes for generations. Its cracked, marble-like texture symbolises age, depth, and the grounding presence of the land. The pot is divided into horizontal bands, creating a layered visual effect reminiscent of geological lines, heritage chapters, and the passage of time.
Symbolism:
The three-legged pot is a powerful emblem of African identity - representing community, unity, and warmth. It is the centre of the home, the keeper of meals, stories, and connection. In its original black, the pot carries the authenticity of our past and the resilience of those who came before us.
Its cracked-earth texture echoes ancestry, endurance, and the stories etched into memory. The horizontal slices speak to journeys, migration, and the threads connecting our roots to the world we step into today.
A visual story of belonging and modern reinterpretation, this piece reflects the heart of Lepot:
Inspired by Africa, Designed for the World.
